What is sublimation printing?

If you’re looking to print a design with lots of colours, or designs that rely on the details, then sublimation printing is most likely to be the most effective process for you. Sublimation printing essentially uses heat to bond the ink and fabric together. First, a design is printed on a special paper. The inks that are utilized transform into gas when exposed to heat, then, at that point, join with the material and forever print onto the fabric.

Fabrics for Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing is only suitable for garments that include polyester (100% polyester or polyester blend). Examples of some polyester fabrics are: slip, spandex, chiffon, tricot, lycra, sports breathable fabrics;

100% cotton materials or other natural materials are not suitable for this method of printing. This is because they don’t have the pores that are required in order for the ink to be absorbed into it. In this case, we can offer you our embroidery services:

14+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

We use large format „Roland” printers with „Epson” print heads and six ink colors – in addition to the standard CMYK colors we also use light Cyan and light Magenta in order to create perfect prints with 2 200 000 color nuances, smooth gradients and crystal clear quality. The inks are water based, harm free with UV protection and last a lifetime and more.

Detailed motifs as well as rich colors and color gradients can be realized in high quality with this printing technique. Due to the high-resolution printing of the motif on the transfer foil, filigree details such as small and complex fonts are also possible.
